Privacy.
The short version: we collect your email address only when you ask us to (by submitting the audit form). We don’t track you on this site. We don’t sell, share, or rent your data to anyone. If you tell us to remove you, we do it the same day.
What we collect
- Your first name and email address — only when you submit the form on familyorb.com/audit or any other form on the site. We use it to send you the audit you asked for and, if you opt in, to send occasional updates as we get closer to launching FamilyOrb.
- Standard server logs — IP address, user-agent, and request path, retained for 30 days for security and operational purposes. These are not used for analytics or ad targeting.
What we don’t collect
- No analytics, no third-party tracking pixels, no Facebook Pixel, no Google Analytics, no Hotjar, no session recorders.
- No advertising cookies. We don’t run ads here.
- No data sale, ever. Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone.
Who handles your email
Email delivery runs through Postmark, a transactional-email service operated by Wildbit. They process delivery on our behalf and don’t use your address for anything else. The full list of processors is just Postmark and our hosting infrastructure (a server in a New Jersey datacenter operated by Quarksoft, LLC).
How to delete your data
Reply to any email from hello@familyorb.com with the word UNSUBSCRIBE and we’ll remove your address the same day. Or just write to us and we’ll handle whatever you ask. Dave reads every email.
If we sell or shut down
If FamilyOrb is acquired or shut down, we’ll notify everyone on the list before any data changes hands. The acquiring entity has to honor this privacy notice or we don’t close the deal. If we shut down, we delete the list.
If something material changes
We’ll email everyone on the list with what changed and why, before it takes effect. No fine-print updates that you have to notice yourself.
